Boy Scout Troup 348
   " the spirit lives on"

Boy Scout troop 348 was chartered in 1959 while Marvin C. Boggs was the minister at Wesley.  Mr. Herman Parlier and Mr. Denny Sloan are two of the original troop committee.

Hundreds of boys have been part of the Scout program. Sixty six Eagle Scouts have been produced from the troop.

Dr. James Hunter is the new Scout Leader.

Doris and Johnny Stiles plant 4 dogwood trees between the church and the Scout Hut - - in honor of their 4 sons who are former members of troop 348 -- as the opening of "Operation Dogwood" a part of the BSA Centennial Celebration.
